Hello All- I recently have watched Housewives of Georgia, and several other movie stars–who have lost baby weight in weeks. I have a child and it took years. Recently the gossip in LA is to take a water pill maybe once a week( do not take my recomendation but ask your doctor as water is one of the causes of not losing weight) and add in a with potassium from your health food store, with salads (and some have a tummy tuck and a breast lift) and they get their entire body done in a couple of months. I use to think, I’m exercising and busy with my child, how can I not lose weight. Water is very heavy and it bloats. I can’t be sure this is correct, and I have taken water pills (natural and from my doctor) and you can get sick–you have to spread them out and eat two to three meals a day. I suggest a natural water pill from the health food store, has all sorts of vitamins that takes the water out. I would only 1-2 weells , and I could not believe how much water there I had lost. . Ask your doctor, if you have a weight problem, to test your thyroid and ask if you can take a water pill, he probably will not want to give you a RX but ask him about a natural one. They worked for me! Take potassium pill each day, and the more the better. After you get feel what is working or not working for you – you might be able to increase to two per week, but again talk to you doctor. The more water you drink the better the results, as yo have water around your organs also. The tummy tuck, that takes money!
I have written on TG Life a couple of years ago, and I am working with them, on getting back on board, I miss you girls!

I just saw, TGLife has a blog page, where the girls ask questions. Example: She had been on bioidentical hormones and wanted to know if anyone else has had any experience with them.
Girls, ask questions, we can do the same!

New Hip Pads Hit The Runway! Yea, Woman No More Hip Exercises

in Tips, Uncategorized
Hello Everyone- I am so happy, as someone finally designed a smaller, more natural hip pad for women. A previous model for many of the major department stores, the coordinator would want the models to have flat bumms so the clothes would hang and not grab. Now, many tg’s willl wear pads to large fortheir bone/body size–and it does not look natural. So, herewith the breaking news on one of my favorite web sitesl Yes, smaller hip pads for women.
They are called Siloutte and the higher end dept store carries them. You will begin to see HIPS on the runway, but NOT the larger hip pads sold at most tg stores.

Herewith an example of one of her tips. You can find her at www.wayout-publishing. How to remove facial hair and body hair is always a question I am asked. Herewith what Vicky Lee in the UK area suggest. Laser or electroysis. Herewith her suggestions. However, research before making decisions.

Hair Removal & Laser Treatment
Hair RemovalAny hair removal method has to work around the fact that it is only during the Anagen stage of growth that the follicle can be neuteralised. Typically only 10% of hair follicles are in this phase at any one time and the growth period is different for each individual is different. Talk about a moving target. How Lasers WorkThe laser seeks to use the concentration of pigment (Melanin) in the hair shaft to absorb the laser light and thereby damaging the follicles ability to regenerate hairs with heat. Meanwhile the laser must be able to pass harmlessly through the other tissue components. The Laser Process Is Not Easy Or Without RiskIt is very hard to hit the hair root (dermal papilla) repeatedly and accurately, since the laser beam is only one to several thousandths of an inch in diameter. In many cases, the laser can destroy tissue around the follicle. Debris such as blackheads, whiteheads and oil can keep the light from reaching the root. Similarly a curved or distorted follicle may obstruct the laser light. In these cases, the laser will not hit the hair root but will singe the hair at the surface, or glance off the side of the follicle wall. When any of the above happen, some minor scarring can occur. The greatest risk with lasers is permanent eye damage, which increases with the higher-class lasers. Severe skin burns can also be caused by laser light. The clinic should provide protective eyewear (which is suitable for the wavelengths used). In the USA this is mandatory.Laser – Not For Every OneA number of factors will effect the result of the treatment.Hair Colour - There must be a good concentration of colour in the hair to absorb the laser light the laser light will not be absorbed by grey, white or blond hair.Skin Colour – Coloured skin contains so much pigment that the laser light is absorbed in the skin and not the hair.Hair Condition - The hair needs to be just visible on the surface of the skin. The shorter and coarser the hair is the better the treatment works.Medication – Some medication can cause photosensitivity of the skin, these include some antibiotics, blood pressure, heart tablets and Premarin. These medications do not exclude patients from treatment but need to be discussed in detail by patient and clinician.Hormone Levels – It appears that those with higher ‘female’ hormone levels respond faster to total elimination.Because of the combination of all these factors it is very hard to follow recommendations from others who have received treatment, as every one will have a different experience.Use Of Lasers Is RegulatedIn the UK the Local Health Authority will supply details of the registered clinics and the lasers that they use. This registration covers the safety aspect of the use of lasers but does not have any bearing on the effectiveness of the treatment. As a condition of the registration, treatment may only be carried out with the authorisation of the clinic doctor, and by a trained laser clinician. The certificate of registration and the clinicians training certificate must be displayed.Areas To Consider When Approaching A ClinicIs the above advice and explanation freely provided? Are consultations free? Is the clinic registered with the health authorities? Which laser machine is used? Who will operate the equipment and therefore carry out the treatment and are they trained? What arrangement for test is suggested? Is the correct eye protection provided? Does the clinic welcome and understand the special needs of transgendered clients? Can you bring a friend? Even after getting positive answers to these questions you are bound to feel vulnerable it is important that you have trust and confidence in the clinic and the clinician. They should be aware of this and should be supportive in providing the clinicians background experience and commitment. Before full treatment any good practitiioner should insist on patch tests to gauge skin reaction and probable success rate.Laser Treatment Is Not Proven PermanentSome trials record patients that have not experienced re-growth in four years. However for legal reasons the manufacturers of these relativly new machines are unable to class the process, (or advertise the process), as permanent with current records. |

Shaving Hair
Shaving Your FaceYou may think you know how to shave your face but as a ‘girl’ you want it REALLY smooth and to last for a long time. Start by holding a flannel soaked in hot water firmly tothe beard area to soften the hair. Take off excess wetness and apply a good layer of shaving foam to allow it to soften the hair. A blade that has been used too many times will drag and be useless on your face. Shave top to bottom with the growth of the hair first. Re-apply a thin layer of shaving foam and shave up against the growth. For the ultimate, shave one more time after smoothing on a good layer of moisturiser, again against the growth. Feel the skin with your other hand, and learn in which direction the hair grows, especially on the neck, so that the final strokes are against the growth. After drying your face always use moisturiser.Body HairIn this day and age a toned, hairless male body is desired by many men and women too. Despite the problem of stubble re-growth much the most popular way of keeping the body smooth is to shave. Once experienced you will never want body hair again. So – Where do you start

Girls Like To Wear Hoisery Or They Prefer A Natural Leg With Lotion

in Fashion Tips For The Transgendered Woman
Karen writes she has spider veins. Karen, one of the biggest hosiery mistakes for TG women? Wearing dark hose to hide spider veins, or un-shaven legs. Certainly, dark hosiery is excellent for un-shaven legs–but the key is the color of your outfit. Unless your ensemble is dark, you’re calling attention TO your legs, not AWAY from them. Dress in darker colors (skirt or dresses) to match the hose, or wear a longer skirt to cover what you want to hide. I would wear pink tops, and dark pretty colors for tops, with interesting belts. Now, the stores have darker colors of hosiery, such as gray, blue, tan and it is really the style now, to wear the darker color hose, they are some thicker and more expensive, but I just love them. Wear great boots when you can.. Remember to pull the eye up with lots of color, even in your makeup (eyes and lips). No one looks at them, as much as you do…we are all hard on ourselves.
And, bring lots of attention to your face with fab earrings. More eye contact and smile more with white teeth! Also, I use the new spray on color for legs, and I love it. by Sally Hanson. I go with the lightest color, and it is not the old type. It washes out that day. Experiment first. It dovers veins.

Friends and Education are important when one is making decisions. This page has many other web sites and events in that area, and it sounds like Denver has a great web mistress along with all the volunteers, to help girls in the Denver area. Also, if your group has a newsletter or a website, please email me and I will post it on this blog. There has to be a group in any large center, if you need to meet others and ask questions.
