Time For Lighter Clothing and Shoes

Hello Everyone: If you celebrate this Sunday–then Happy Easter!  As I thought about what I would weaer on

Sunday, I realized most of my clothing is dark and mostly all –Black basics. I don’t have even one white or light dress!

So, begin thinking about adding in light clothing (which will be cooler also). Pick up the basics–tan shorts, lighter skirts and one light weight jacket– to wear over your dark dresses! I don’t want to purchase an entire white dress, so look for any lighter jacket you have–that you can coordinate with your darker clothing. I was thinking of wearing one of my “Texas” wide brim hats, as my mother always makes us wear big hats to church, but no one wears hats in CA.  I was thinking I would block the view of the folks behind me! Smiles.

Enjoy the beautiful weather, we have wonderful weather here in CA.  Plan a trip to come and work with me this summer!

PUSH BACK YOUR CHEST

Hello Everyone-From Denae

I was walking behind a woman yesterday in a store. She had the most beautiful posture, I have ever seen. Even my friend, called her to my attention. What was it we both studied? Her shoulders.

Remember one of two ways– for good posture in girl or guy mode: take your fingers and push back your chest right above your breasts. You will find how many times your head and shoulders FALL DOWN. So, just keep taking your hand and pushing your chest  back–it will pull in your head, chin, shoulders, and chest.

# 2. Roll your shoulders: UP, BACK, THEN STRAIGHT DOWN. IT NEEDS TO BE IN THIS ORDER. THIS IS GREAT TO BRING OUT YOUR BUST.

MAKE IT A GOAL TO WORK ON YOUR POSTURE, IT WILL INCREASE YOUR CONFIDENCE AND HOW YOU LOOK.

FIND A MIRROR AND TURN TO THE SIDE, AND CHECK BOTH TECHNIQUES OUT! WOW, WHAT A DIFFERENCE!

Wigs For The TG Woman

Hello from Denae. Finding the best wig for you, at the right price–is difficult. I recently went into two different beauty supply stores, (they are small stores, and the public can also purchase the products your hair stylist would)…so I am not sure why they call them beauty supply stores). I found several good wigs at these stores, and they are all displayed. You can try several on, and see what color and style looks best on you. The best is a blend of synthetic hair and human hair–as this allows you to have some curl (due to the synthetic having curl). If you purchase a real human hair wig, they are the most expensive and you will need to have them styled as they do not hold a curl. If you’re going full time, I would suggest a real human hair as it looks real but requires upkeep.

Here are the things to avoid:

No thickness on the top. Ask them to thin (not cut) but thin out the very top crown. The thicker crown will add 1 or 2 inches.

No shine. If you go all synthetic, they do have a shine, which looks fake.

If you’re just beginning, perhaps a synthetic wig is best, as they can be purchased for $75.00

Beauty Supply stores will have all the brand name of salon products, they have wigs, and they have makeup and anything you need for your hair. So, do an internet search for a “Beauty Supply” in your area. You could always call and see what they sell. Every city is different. Many of you have emailed me, not knowing where to purchase a wig. Lastly, there are wig salons (not wig stores) and the salons will make a wig for you, and they style and cut. They are beautiful, but can run over $1,000.00.   And, the tg makeover salon in your city will have wigs for sale, they are generally the lower price, but again…if you’re new..this is a good place to begin. In San Jose, CA –near me…Carlas.com is a tg makeover salon and they do carry synthetic wigs.

This is trial and error. And, for genetic women…it is also one of the most difficult things she deals with!

Posture For The TG Woman

Thanks Karen, for your question regarding “sitting” in  a chair or on a sofa. (See my Vol 1.)

If you’re tall (over 6 feet) then do not attempt to sit on the edge of the chair and slide back.   For a tall girl, keep your head and shoulders level and simply sit all the way BACK in the chair. Remember, as I showed in Vol 1–when any tall girl is sitting down –and she reaches back with her tush, leaning her head toward the ground….she will  look taller. The same with standing up and out of the chair.  Don’t PUSH up (which will also lower your head towards the ground) which will make you look taller. Instead, when rising out of the chair–lift yourself using your thighs– and keep your head  and shoulders even. A simple way to remember this, is to think of having a string pulling you UP in the middle of your head. Keeping your string pulled up, while lowering yourself to sit and lifting yourself to stand, having your head and shoulders even and lifted. Give this a try, you will  be amazed how this technique gives you a gliding pull look, Remember, how I showed you in Vol 1–women PULL IN while men PUSH OUT. Pulling up when you walk, or sit, glide up stairs, you will begin to feel the difference the more you pull.

Tips For Eating Out

Hello from Denae. I often, after hours of training, will take a short  30 minute break with my client– from shopping, to grab a snack. In a high percentage of times, this is where I see her training drop out, as hunger takes over. I suggest you be mindful of the many things all people do, when they are in a hurry, when they are hungry, tired, under pressure, driving, etc. When out, take this opportunity to observe yourself during stressful times, places. It is much easier to “forget and get back into guy mode habits” when under stress. This is very important– as only practicing in front of a mirror– is  not enough training for an outing for the new TG woman.

When we eat, I see many TG women Open their mouth, and insert their foot!! Herewith some suggestions, most genetic women are mindful. Men often choose too large of a plate and they also take too large of bite. Next, men often open their mouths too wide. Men often shovel and dip while their heads are learning forward into the plate. Often men will bring food to their mouth, instead of having a balance of bringing the food towards  their fork while also…. leaning into the fork from the waist. This  also applies to drinks. No large gulps. Elbows in, this is one of the most difficult–elbow IN while drinking a bottle of beer, this is an excellent way to feel the difference.  Also, the  next time, be mindful of how men eat, and how a graceful woman eats (someone you would be happy to learn from).

If you have any tips, let me hear them!
