But, I AM HERE (smiles) to TEACH YOU EACH STEP YOU NEED IN all feminine areas important for any TG woman…such as: how to apply your makeup, and help you find supplies. In addition, in a consultation, we study VOICE which is so important for any serious TG woman…I use a computer software program which allows you to SEE and HEAR your Pitch and Resonance scores, Wardrobe colors and styles, how to move in a feminine, sensual photo poses, to moving in a feminine way with a few simple tips on feminine movement or sexy sways …to my favorite subject… SENSUAL MOVEMENT IN ALL AREAS…FROM WALKING AND STANDING TO GETTING IN AND OUT OF CARS, TO PUTTING A COAT ON AND OFF, TO GOING UP AND DOWN STAIRS GRACEFULLY. Please don’t hesistate to call me, at 831 479-1252, or email me at DenaeDoyle@femimage.com to discuss your private consult with me (Santa Cruz is about 1 hour 15 min South of the San Francisco airport.
We can put together a consult which will include everything you need, and discuss a fee depending on how many hours you feel–you will need.

So, herewith a clients story, of how feminine she felt, during her day with me. Again, I just found this article on the Internet today!
Enjoy!

I Love Chanel Cosmetics And My Consult With Denae Doyle!

A lot of us girls (Trannie, like me, or Genetic) have questions about makeup. Colors, brands, how to apply.. my goodness, there is a lot to learn. The best thing I ever did was to go the Chanel counter and let the professionals show me. It wasn’t cheap, but it was certainly worth it to me. Let me tell you about it.

Like many of you, I learned about makeup through various resources. There are great web sites like http://www.transformation.co.uk/easy-make-up.html. Detailed instruction and examples can be found in books like Color Me Beautiful by Carole Jackson (which Denae recommended and is such an eye opener to what colors to wear, Kevyn Aucoin’s Making Faces, and Jane Campsie’s Hair & Make-Up. And of course there’s Oprah–I happened to catch a great segment on eyebrow waxing one afternoon, for example. These resources are wonderful for explaining it all and showing beautifully made-up faces that I would die for, but they don’t talk about my particular face. (An egregious oversight on their part!) I thought I was doing pretty good with a look for clubbing etc., but when I decided to transition to living as a woman full time, I began to worry about achieving a more natural look for everyday wear. My color sense just isn’t very good, so I needed help.

Fortunately, I knew where I could get that help. I had recently spent a gloriously fun afternoon with Denae Doyle of FemImage, working on my feminine poise and deportment. I remembered that Denae had mentioned a makeup expert she worked with from time to time, and that I might consider consulting her when I was ready. Now I was ready! I gave Denae a call. She told me she was thinking of Debi at the Chanel counter at Gottschalks in the Capitola Mall near Santa Cruz, where Denae’s business is headquartered. I thanked her and said I would go there and see Debi, but Denae generously offered to accompany me and oversee the process. We arranged to meet at the mall the following Saturday. (Denae called ahead to be sure that Debi would be available.)

We planned to meet at Chili’s restaurant at the mall’s main entrance for lunch. I arrived a little early and did not see Denae, so I took a quick tour around the mall. Quick is right! Compared to the fabulous Silicon Valley malls like Westfield and Standford where I usually shop, this seemed like a toy mall, just a little playpen of a mall. It only took 10 minutes to walk the length and breadth of the criss-cross layout, ducking my head into a few shops, but moving along quickly so I wouldn’t miss Denae. We eventually linked up, and it turned out we must have just missed each other several times. But all’s well that ends well, and we had a nice relaxing lunch at Chili’s, with lots of girly chit-chat.

After finishing with our lunch, we sauntered down to the Gottschalks end of the mall, window shopping along the way. We got to the Chanel counter in the department store, and Debi and her young porcelain-skinned comrade-in-cosmetics Linse greeted us with big smiles. At this point I began to understand the wisdom of trekking all the way down to Santa Cruz for this venture. I’m sure charming and talented makeup pros can be found at Chanel counters everywhere, but here in this little mall I received the undivided attention of these two lovely ladies all afternoon. At Westfield Macy’s, it’s an effort just to get enough attention to replenish my foundation.

Denae introduced me to Debi and Linse and they seemed genuinely happy to meet me. Other T-girls have reported similar warm welcomes at other cosmetics counters as well. I suspect the clerks spend so much time helping little old ladies select just the right shade of blue eye shadow, that they’re sincerely glad to work with a fresh new face, especially one that is eager to drink deeply from the fountain of their expertise.

Denae and the ladies got caught up on their gossip a little bit, and then the focus turned to me me me! Debi sat me in the tall makeup chair in the aisle and used some potions to clean off the light cosmetics I had applied that morning. She applied some magic “restructuring” creams and moisturizing lotions which use the most modern chemical technologies to extract huge sums of money from my pocketbook, and may possibly help me achieve softer, more youthful skin. (On the serious side, I figure that if good skin care delays the need for a face lift some number of years, it will be a worthwhile return on my investment.)

Starting with this fresh palette, the first and most important task was to select a foundation. This was the part that Denae had particularly wanted to watch over, as it so important to get this just right. She had confided to me that she had gone back and forth with Debi with some “slight” differences of opinion working on certain girls, and sometimes this process could be quite lengthy. As it happened I was easy, and Debi hit my color just right on the first try with Soft Bisque Intensity 3. Denae didn’t have to fight her a bit. We all agreed this shade looked very natural on me. Debi applied the foundation with a medium size brush, and I watched her technique closely as I had not been a brush-user up to this point. I was impressed with how smoothly the brush applied the foundation, and how it filled in all the pits and crevices that I deny having. I decided I would use a foundation brush from now on.

Debi dusted my face with a silky powder using a large puffy brush, just removing the shine from my skin. She used a little bit of concealer and highlighter to cover what remained of my upper lip stubble, most of my facial hair having been eradicated via laser at this point. I was amazed at how little concealer and powder she used, because I had been caking it on rather thickly. But I realized that I had developed this habit when I still had quite a bit of facial hair, and no longer needed to do that. The light application of makeup gave me a much more natural look. (The cost of Chanel’s liquid makeup has also encouraged me to go lighter and lighter on the foundation lately!)

Debi selected an auburn pencil to fill in and define my eyebrow arch, and she and Denae decided I definitely needed a waxing there. “Yes! yes!” I eagerly agreed, as this was something I had been longing to do but had not felt comfortable about as long as I was still doing guy-mode. Denae and I ran over to her manicure parlor and got this done right after we finished at Chanel that afternoon.

From a Tamises Trio eye shadow kit, Debi used a light, almost invisible shade over my whole eye-lid all the way up to the eyebrows to set off the arch. Then she added a dark blue–almost a gray–on the lower portion of the lid, just on the outside halves to make my eyes look a little wider apart. For eyeliner, a dark purple shade replaced the black that I had been using. Debi made a much thinner line than I had always done, and smudged it so that it was nothing more than a shadow. I thought this would not leave enough color to bring out my eyes sufficiently, but when she curled my eye-lashes and coated them with a dark brown-black mascara, I had to agree with the ladies that my baby blues looked plenty cute!

I think I mentioned to Debi that I had never been able to find a mascara I was completely pleased with. They never seemed to go on quite right, being too clumpy, or gluey, or too thin, or whatever. I was pleased to find out that I love the Chanel mascara. It seems extremely thick, yet it goes on very smoothly and looks quite natural. The Chanel foundation also strikes me as substantially richer and nicer looking and feeling than what the ladies disparagingly referred to several times as “drugstore cosmetics”. As for the rest of the products, I haven’t really formed an opinion as to whether they are or are not substantially better than less expensive alternatives.

Denae had previously cautioned me against red red lipstick, which had of course been my idea of “with it” up to that point. Debi chose a light sienna lip liner and lipstick for me. I noticed that the lipstick matched the liner exactly, and I recalled that Kevyn Aucoin claimed that the dark liner/lighter fill look was out of style. (Of course Kevyn also says there are no rules!) I also saw the control Debi was able to achieve using a tiny brush to apply the lipstick, and I resolved to become a brush gal in this also.

Debi finished me off with blush high on my cheekbones of a gold hue with peach undertones. She swept the blush up higher toward my temples than Denae thought prudent, but when we saw how subtle the shade was, we agreed it worked well. Finally a deeper plumb blush was used to sculpt in my cheeks just a bit. Debi blended the blush thoroughly with her fingers, so that it transitioned smoothly and looked simply like a trick of the light.

The girls all picked at my hair to fluff it up a bit, and declared I was a beauty. I wasn’t inclined to argue!

When I got home that evening I snapped a few photos to get a record of my make-over. Unfortunately I am lousy photographer, but the accompanying photo (the head shot with the rose jacket) can give you some idea of the results. I like all of the colors and products Debi helped me with that day, and that is what I continue to wear now, several months later. However I thought that Debi overdid me just a bit, for my tastes. A little too much blush, a little too much extension beyond my natural lip lines. So I tone things down somewhat in my daily wear, more like the photo of me in the gray suit. For clubbing, especially on Goth or fetish nights, I go back to the red red lipstick and black black eyeliner!

All this expertise, attention, and love did come with a price tag. Actually you are not obligated to buy anything when you have a makeover at the cosmetics counter. But the ladies work on commission, so it would be rather rude to take up their time and not compensate them. In my case I had deliberately let my makeup supply run down in anticipation of this event, and I let Debi know that as we got started. When we finished, lovely Linse presented me with a big drawing of a face which she had annotated with the exact descriptions of all the products which we had used as we went along. Debi asked me what, if anything, I wished to purchase. I told her, “I need everything. Load me up!” In this, I was not to be disappointed! I had been forewarned by a girlfriend that this could be a pricey experience. She told me she had spent $300 at the cosmetics counter on one of her initial trips. So I thought I was prepared. I asked Debi to ring me up but don’t even show me the bottom line–I just signed off the credit card slip. So it was not until I got home that I saw the damage. Are you ready for this? It was several hundred dollars–but it did reach that by the time I picked up a couple of things that they had not had in stock just at that time! I was glad that I had not seen this bottom line in the store, because it did rather shock me! But I decided that I do not regret a nickel of it. Let me explain that this included not just cosmetics, but a complete set of brushes, and the complete line-up of those very pricey high-tech skin care products. Also Chanel is no doubt the top of the line, most expensive cosmetics you can get and Denae Doyle and the girls at Chanel are the best and I am fortunately in a position where I can afford it, so why not the best? I figure it is like cooking–use the very best ingredients, until you get good enough that you can achieve the same results with more economical ones. I would encourage other girls to take advantage of their local make-up counters, Chanel or others, and don’t be put off by the money. You don’t have to spend anything like what I spent–but do buy at least a few things to compensate your gals (or guys) for their time. What color “foundation” is difficult, so getting help in what shade, would be my suggestion.

This little adventure took place over Christmas break last season. If I had any regrets about the money I spent, they would have disappeared once and for all at 8 am on January 2. That was the moment when I walked into the lobby of my new job, working for the first time as a woman, and told the receptionist, “Good morning, I’m Elaine!” Because whatever other doubts and uncertainties were facing me that morning, at least I had confidence that my makeup was fine.

Luv,
Lannie

New Bra For Holiday Dresses

Hi All, as I blogged yesterday, I have been looking for a sensual but sophisticated holiday dress to wear (for Thanksgiving, Christmas, parties, or even maybe New Years Eve). I have found, from previous years….that it is very smart to buy a red, black, type dress…about this time of the year, as women shop early for the holiday dresses, and shoes. You will get to wear it so many times. As I told you, go to http://www.bostonproper.com if you’re looking for a really sensual but fabulous looking dress. I bought one on the cover and one other solid black. Okay, herewith the problem.
Most of the evening or cocktail, or dressy long dresses have a low front. What Bra to wear??
I was shocked, a normal bra is to high in the lower cut fronts of these dresses. So, I shopped on line to SOMA. They have the best. sexy, bras. For the lower cut dresses for any TG woman, I would suggest a push up bra, in black. Wear pads if needed. I recently lost about 10 pounds, so I am now a cup size lower, so I will be putting pads in my strapless bra too!
Try http://www.soma.com for great bras and panties. If the dress is short (two or three inches above the knee) shop for thigh highs that will STAY UP. You may have to pay a little more, but when you cross your legs while sitting, they will not come down.

If you have any holiday party or New Years party, start shopping now!!
I love shopping for bras!

Beauty Tips For The Serious TG Woman

Style For The TG Woman

Everything About Being A Stylish Woman ~ Fall/Winter Clothing and Dating, & Traveling Tips For TG Women.

It seems some women, simply know how to be comfortable out in public.
Why? They learned and it was important to them to be as pretty as possible.

They can tie a scarf, knot a belt, size up a boot heel, and kick the stuffing out of a pinstriped suit. They know what jeans wash is cool and what cocktail is hot. But above all, they’re thoughtful. About dressing. About behavior. About attracting the right kind of attention at just the right time. Which is what separates the truly stylish from the merely guy in a dress. Here, a practical guide to polishing up your look and burnishing your image this fall. Herewith some great tips. Thanks to Allure for some great tips.

1. How to Order a Drink
In our 20s, we thought that ordering a Jameson on the rocks made us look badass and that we couldn’t go wrong with a nice glass of house Chardonnay. Ah, youth. On the rare occasion now that we give a damn what someone thinks, we have one inscrutable go-to drink: vodka soda with a twist. It’s not pink, it’s not seasonal—in fact, you could call it the Drink Without Qualities.

2. How to Maintain Clothes Like a Pro
Snip out hanger loops in new tops and dresses, or they will pull out when you wear them.

3. How to Dress it Down
Scale back the statement necklace for day by going with silver instead of gold and pairing it with a thin, silky T-shirt.

4. Black is the new dark wash.
But get it in a true blue-jeans cut—five-pocket, straight leg, starting just below the waist. The Levi’s Eco style has skinny, tapered legs—and a tight, leggings-like fit—love, love.

5. How to Keep Stretch Jeans Snug
Stretch jeans need a little heat to restore their fit, but be sure to grab them out of the hot dryer the moment they’re no longer damp— you’ll forestall the slow, inevitable death of the elastic in the fabric.

6. How to Talk About Sports

You are not required to like sports. You are not even required to pretend to like sports. But utter cluelessness is beneath you. If you own a truck, sell it girls!

A few guidelines:

Familiarize yourself with the approximate beginning and end of the pro sports seasons. Not having an opinion about the Lakers’ record is fine; not knowing that the season is over is lame.
The same goes for time periods: Baseball has nine innings; football and basketball have four quarters; hockey has three periods; soccer has two halves.
Upsets are the most exciting thing about sports. Watch highlights of the most buzzed-about games on YouTube so you can join in the national conversation. (Just check out when the U.S. soccer team beat Spain in this year’s Confederations Cup.)

7. Weekend Wear

First, the rules. No dresses. No skirts. No black in the country. And nothing dangling from your neck except a cashmere scarf or a subversive-style chain necklace. Here, what to wear on weekend days:

In the city: Slim black pants, ballet slippers or platform booties, thin sweater or T-shirt, cashmere jacket and scarf.
In the country: Slouchy jeans, motorcycle boots or Wellies, waffle-knit cashmere sweater, chunky scarf, peacoat.

8. How to Flirt

Wear red. Women who dress in red are seen by men as sexier than those who wear white, green, blue, or gray, according to a University of Rochester study. Not convinced? Ladies in red are 56 percent more likely to get asked out on a date than someone wearing blue.
Flash your…wrists. The most demure of body parts isn’t so innocent after all. “Their glands emit pheromones, so we become aroused on an unconscious level by seeing the wrists,” says Martin Lloyd-Elliot, a psychotherapist and author of The Secrets of Sexual Body Language (Ulysses Press).
Dim the lights. Candlelight is flattering in more ways than we realize. A University of Chicago study found that men perceived women with dilated pupils to be more attractive. Observe my Vol 1 2 & 3 ~ For TG Women, Creating Feminine Movement!
Stand tall. “We pay attention to someone who’s higher up,” many therapist say. Many TG women are taller, but please don’t cruch in your waist or roll your shoulders forward. Less obvious: Consider where you’re pointing your toes. You can tell if a person really likes you if their toes point toward you.

9. Make Your Clothes Last
The less frequently you wash clothes, the longer they’re going to last, according to Chris Paulocik, conservator for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City. “Do what women in Europe do with their finest garments: The day after you wear them, air them out outside, away from direct sunlight, which can fade clothes, but somewhere air can circulate through them. Unless they’re stained, this is often enough to freshen the fabric.”

10. How to Walk in Platforms
We love everything about this season’s platform heels—except the prospect of fracturing an ankle. Shoe designer Edmundo Castillo explains the secret to walking tall: “Platforms can be difficult because they don’t flex in front. A tight fit helps, so buy Foot Petals or an insole for heels. And as with any 4 inch heel or over in high shoes,” always step on the ball of the foot and roll to the toe.” Lower heels, step on the heel and roll to the toe.

11. How to Wear a Belt Right Now
Run to the men’s department and get yourself a medium-width brown leather belt with a gold buckle. Think of it as a layering tool, not something to thread through loops. And make sure it’s long—and pliable—enough to wrap or knot around dresses (yes, dresses), jackets, and coats.

12. How to Dress For Travel
Three high flyers reveal what they wear to look stylish on an airplane:

Stefani Greenfield, Co-founder of SCOOP: My favorite look is a Rag&Bone fitted stretch blazer, a J.Crew long-sleeved cashmere T-shirt, slim stretch pants by Curations Never Looked So Good, a big scarf that doubles as a shawl, and ballet flats.
Rebekah McCabe, Senior Vice President of P.R. for Chanel: I wear boyfriend jeans and ballet flats, then change into heels and add a little black tweed jacket when I land.
My go-to outfit is a long shirt in a wrinkle-proof fabric, American Apparel leggings, and open-toe wedge shoes—all in black. I pack cashmere socks for the plane. I wear faux wraps and pull down caps. Accessories, are very female. Many of you fight it, but add on those hats, caps, and pull your hair up under the hat/cap or let it down. I prefer up. Great for rain and San Francisco fog!

13. How to Tie a Scarf
You’ve got Edith Piaf on the iPod and a one-by-six-foot panel of thin cashmere dangling from your neck. What now? We’ll let Louis Vuitton PR director Iana dos Reis Nunes take it from here with this simple un-deux-trois demo.

Drape: To start, I place the scarf at the back of my neck, so the ends fall forward.
Wrap: I do two snug turns of the scarf around my neck, leaving both ends hanging in front by my shoulders again.
Knot: To finish, I loop the ends in a half knot under my neck so they hang down like a necktie. The idea is to have something close to the throat, to bring the focus to the face.

14. The Ultimate Evening Shoe
This slingback by Brian Atwood has the requisite platform sole and some glitter at the toe. But what makes it unusual is that it’s suede, a material usually reserved for day.

15. How to Make Your Shoes Last
Take new shoes to the cobbler, and ask for a thin rubber half sole and rubber taps at the toes. The former come in black, beige, and even red for those Louboutins, and the latter help prevent scuffing.

16. Don’t Be a Fashion Victim

Take it one trend at a time. Studs and chains? That’s it for the hardware. A bright neon dress? Keep the shoes muted.
Go ahead and mix things up—high end, low end, inherited or vintage—to foil a copycat uniform a head-to-toe runway look.
Don’t trot out all your jewels at once. Pick a big, showy necklace or a dramatic oversize cuff. But don’t wear both.
Test-drive everything. If you can’t walk in the five-inch-high gladiator platforms, don’t buy the five-inch-high gladiator platforms. Please, any TG woman who is not experienced with walking in heels, please keep your heel to 3 inches. Having a “weird” walk, will be additional unwanted attention. Sit, walk, and observe yourself. Never sit down, without sitting down in this dress…..in front of your own mirror. Cross legs or not?

17. How to Go Solo

At a bar: Sit at a table if you aren’t looking for conversation. Sit on a stool near the bartender if you are. Flipping through a magazine is fine; listening to your iPod is lame; talking on your cell phone is out of the question. Tip well, just on principle.
At a restaurant: If you aren’t sure a restaurant is friendly to single diners, try making a reservation; if they are condescending on the phone, it will be worse in person. Eat at the bar whenever it’s an option— there’s always plenty to observe. (Sushi bars are especially welcoming.) And, most importantly, don’t be self-conscious. Does your heart swell with pity when you see a woman dining alone? We didn’t think so.
At a party: Arrive at least 30 minutes late so you can blend in. If you don’t see a group you can approach, head to the ladies’ room (where women inevitably chat in front of the mirror) or the bar area (where you can always point to someone’s empty glass and ask, “How was that?”). Once you’ve struck up a conversation, consider following your new friend back to her group if she seems amenable.

18. How to Dress After Dark
The rules are unwritten, the boundaries fuzzy. Roopal Patel, women’s fashion accessory editor for Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman, sets us straight on what to wear for a big night on the town:

Club/concert: If you’re going out dancing or to a concert, then your outfit should be fun. Think of the Balmain disco influence: a crystal-embroidered or sequined T-shirt or tank, leather leggings, and multibuckle boots.
Dressy dinner: A more sophisticated look is needed here. A soft, draped dress in crushed velvet—such as those from Balenciaga, Prada, and Calvin Klein—would be perfect. Add a stack of mixed-metal bangles, and instead of classic stilettos or evening sandals, wear suede or leather booties, like those by Elizabeth and James.
Black tie: Short or long, the one-shoulder dress is flattering on almost everyone. Keep it light and diaphanous or buy one that’s bejeweled. I love Naeem Khan’s take on the Indian sari, in topaz or gray. Pare back your accessories to crystal bangles and embellished evening shoes, such as those from Giuseppe Zanotti.

19. How to Order Wine

Do a quick survey to see if the majority wants red or white. If everyone thinks it’s just fine to drink red with swordfish, then it is.
Take the price of the most expensive entrée on the menu and add half. (That swordfish is $30? Shoot for a $45 bottle.)
Look for a two-year-old white or a three-year-old red.
If you’re left with more than one choice within those parameters, choose the least common varietal. Spanish Albariños, Aglianicos from Italy, and Chilean Malbecs are all good options.
If all else fails, ask the sommelier to suggest a bottle.

20. How to Cheek Kiss
Let’s settle this, shall we? Start on their right (we don’t know why that’s more common; it just is). Place three fingers of your right hand where their left shoulder meets their arm for balance. Your cheek lightly touches their cheek; your lips do not. Purse your lips, but don’t make a smacking sound. Only repeat on the left if you are in Europe or with fashion types.

21. “Never buy a dress that’s really too tight for you. But if you do…never go to a party without safety pins.” —Victoria Beckham

22. How to Choose an Evening Bag
Yes, you can squeeze in a BlackBerry, a compact, a lipstick, and even some Tic Tacs—and that’s why this Jimmy Choo black cylinder is a favorite evening bag. Plus, it’s got a clutchable shape (like a Tootsie Roll), a smooth satin exterior, and a detachable top handle.

23. How to Pick a New Polish

Look to moody grays, opaque nudes, and striking purples this fall–because the best shades of the season are unexpected (but not so much so that they are shocking)

24. Never respond to a compliment with anything self-deprecating. It’s a rejection of the other person’s goodwill.

25. Always face forward when making your way through a row of seats. Learn to side-step (and walk backwards)!

TG Voice Training Exercises….Before You Begin Working On Your New Voice

Recently, while teaching a privvate voice consultation, I have realized the importance of voice and movement together– as I have included voice in all my movement consults. I suppose, I have taken pieces of the most important areas…… everything I have seen, heard, or read for the last ten years on TG voice training. Since this is a difficult subject for all TG clients, I am putting it in the easiest form– I have found useful in my private voice consults.

For now, prepare….. with the one most important thing. To daily  STRETCH YOUR VOCAL CORDS, WHICH creates THE RESONANCE and PITCH– TO BE MORE FEMININE.  I suggest, while driving to work or school,  simply practice with E E E E E E E. Start low and go up. WE want the larynx as thin as possible by stretching them out. Another exercise is- ME ME ME ME ME.  The only way, to maintain the feminine voice we create, is to first stretch with these exercises. By only starting with a few minutes,  you will not strain your voice. Then, go up to 5 or 10 mins of both exercises a day. Be patient, and don’t over-do it!

When you begin our next step, you will be ready to maintain your female voice and it will be softer and naturally higher.

Beards–How To Cover Them For TG Women

Beards – God’s curse to cross-dressers. Many of us can’t
afford or can’t have electrolysis or laser treatments to remove our beards. But
don’t worry because cosmetics can help.

STEP ONE – Obtain the closest shave possible. Start
with a freshly washed face, and then moisturize. Next, using a multi-blade (or a
good electric razor if you prefer), shave using downward strokes then shave
using upward strokes afterward. Repeat the upward strokes two to three times to
get the closest shave possible. Pay special attention to your chin and the area
just above your lip, around and on the edge of the lip and under your nose.
Having a styptic pencil handy is good idea until you get used to shaving this
closely, a styptic pencil will stop any bleeding from cuts. I can’t stress
enough the importance of shaving very, very closely.

STEP TWO – With a pair of
cuticle scissors, carefully trim all nose and ear hairs. Many cross dressers
forget this, and even after you makeup is removed, having no visible nose or ear
hair is just a good practice to get into. Remington even makes electric shavers
designed just for this purpose.

Now look at your face very carefully in
a mirror. You are looking for stray hairs on your nose and between your
eyebrows. A tweezer will remove them quite easily.
I will talk more about
plucking eyebrows in a later article.

You must remember that all store
bought makeup, foundations and concealers are manufactured and designed with a
woman’s face in mind and will never cover medium to heavy beards, and will cover
light beards only for a very short period of time, so here’s what I suggest.

STEP THREE
Start by applying a small amount of moisturizer all over your face and neck and
give it a minute to absorb. Reapply. I recommend that you use THE FANTASY GIRL
professional Pink Goo. In addition to helping conceal the beard shadow in
person, it hides it in photos as well. Camera flashes will definitely show heavy
shadowed beards under most makeup. Apply the Pink Goo to the beard and mustache
areas using a “patting” motion. You don’t need to apply very much, just a light
coat over the beard and mustache area will take the “shadow” out of the beard.
After the Pink Goo is applied, wait a few minutes until it dries. Next, using a
dry cosmetic sponge, or your fingertips, pat on the beard cover over the beard
and mustache area. After it sits a minute apply another thin coat if
needed.

STEP FOUR
– Next we apply the foundation, I use a cream foundation, it comes in many
shades, is inexpensive, and covers very well without having that “shiny” look
that many others have. Here at The Fantasy Girl salon we use a private label
cream based foundation. They go on lightly, and are easy to use and look great.
Using a cosmetic sponge, begin blotting the foundation over your face. Use a
patting method, to ensure even coverage. Make sure you evenly blend all over,
including the eyelid, eyebrow, and ear areas. What you are doing here is
creating an even skin tone all over you face. Our cream foundations are perfect
matches for our beard covers. You do not need very much, usually the residue on
the sponge after doing the beard area will be enough to cover the eye, upper
cheek and the area just under the jaw line. Most people can usually end the
cream foundation coverage just under the jaw line. Going lower risks getting
makeup all over your clothing, which is expensive and difficult to
clean.

STEP FIVE
– Apply a loose powder, which will set and smooth out the foundation. Our loose
powder is the perfect tone for setting our foundation crème. I use a powder puff
to apply the powder. Some people prefer placing a small amount of powder onto
their palm, then dipping a powder brush into the powder and pressing the brush
onto the face. The key is to actually push the powder firmly into the crème
foundation and face, melding the two. This allows the foundation to set properly
and slow down the process of your skin absorbing the cosmetics. Once again, use
sparingly, too much powder looks terrible, and will make any lines on your face
more pronounced. Take the powder puff and place in jar of powder, remove and tap
lightly to shake of excess powder. Then pat the powder puff all over your face,
starting at the top and moving downward. Be sure to use a “patting” motion – do
not rub your face with the puff, as this will cause streaking of the foundation.
Leave the loose powder on your face for 3-5 minutes to allow it to “set”. With a
large powder brush, using a downward motion starting at your forehead and
finishing at the base of your neck, brush any excess powder from your face. You
can use 2 or more tones of foundation to create contours on the face. Use a
darker tone on the jaw line and sides of the nose, and a lighter tone on the
cheekbone and eye areas.

Beauty Tip By Denae Doyle For The Breast Form Store. Small Tips You Can Start At Home

The # 1 Beauty Tip

I was recently listening to a radio show, on fashion. A beauty expert, asked what the number 1 beauty problem men and women have. Any quess?

It is yellow teeth! They also suggested getting Coconut Oil to whiten your teeth ~ apply it, leaving it in your mouth for 30 mins, and presto..you will have white teeth. They explained that having your teeth professionally whitened (and I checked with my dentist) will DRY OUT THE ENEMAL ON YOUR TEETH. Also, put a small amount of Hydrogen Peroide (brown bottle for 99 cents) every day will heal the gums and whiten the teeth. When you wear Lipstick, the colored lips…will cause your teeth to look darker.

So, do a Goggle search on your own, and check the wonders for Coconut oil for whitening your teeth, with quick results and or Hyydrogen Peroxide which is in Most ToothPaste For Whitening! I have seen the darkest teeth become very white in 6 months, simply put a small amount in your mouth while taking a shower!.

Also, anyone who has bad breath? This is a direct indictator of gum disease. Start the peroide immediately, and call your dentist for an apt. You will NOT loose your teeth because of cavities, but instead…. due to gum disease. The strong smell is from the bacteria from the inflamed gums. It is a terrible smell. (My father was a dentist). I dilute the hydrogen peroxide with 1/3 as it burns my tongue a little. I have been amazed the the difference in teeth, with the clients who use this every day…and no damage to the teeth…your gums will get healthier. In the health news…they are reporting bad gums can increase your risk for heart attacks, since the backteria carries.

So, begin with your hydrogen peroide today, and avoid having tooth decay, bad breath, but enjoy having very white teeth! Put a bottle (99 cents) in your shower, and fill your mouth, it will bubble, so you can spit some out, but continue. Try for 5 mins. I have seen very white teeth in  4 months, if done everyday. When wearing lipstick, you will LOVE the results…with your new, white healthier, inexpensive treatment–as the pink or purple lipstick– will only cause your teeth to look even darker!

Also, they reported Coconut oil, will whiten your teeth safely in 20 mins!! The problem with lazer whitening, can cause some teeth to dry out….and can thin the enamal on your teeth! So, these two natural (and they don’t cost hundreds of dollars) will whiten at home, and cost 99 cents. Also, any sign of bad breath indicates bad gums not tooth decay. If anyone you know has bad breath, tell them about these wonderful ways and help them get started today with the hydrogen peroxide asap! Bad gums will allow the teeth to loosen and fall out. The smell, is from the bad bacteria in the gums! For everyone else, try the peroxide and or Coconut oil, as a quick inexpensive way to whiten your teeth before you go out. With the peroxide, you must put some in your mouth, and leave it for about 5 mins.

And, you can avoid a trip to the dentist. Let me know about your reseults.
